The Restriction of Hazardous Substances Directive 2011/65/EU (ROHS) became effective January 2, 2013. In accordance with ROHS, the ROHS Directive now applies to products in Andhra Pradesh India, previously excluded electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) categories 8 and 9 (medical devices and monitoring and control instruments) in Andhra Pradesh India. However, ROHS deals with the same hazardous substances and the same maximum concentration limits as Directive 2002/95/EC (RoHS1).
